Start-Rite Schools participated in an Anti-Bullying Week programme from the 6th to the 10th of June. This programme, one that member schools of the Abuja School Association (ASA) held across the city, was aimed at sensitising the school community on bullying: its nature and impact.
Some of the activities included the students, teachers, and pupils coming to school dressed in their different ‘wacky’ attire as a fun way to spread awareness on the consequences/effect of bullying. The week-long programme was aimed at reinforcing the message that bullying is utterly intolerable in the school community. This culminated in a special assembly session where dances and skits were performed, much to the audience’s delight.
Start-Rite says NO to bullying and we believe our students will take these lessons learned beyond their school journey and into life as they grow into mature, responsible, and empathetic adults.
