Assemblies

Early Years/Primary School

Living values are designed to motivate students and to involve them in thinking about themselves, others and the world in relevant ways.

As a values-based school, this platform is used as a medium for the children to educate one another on the living value for the term.  Each class is expected to do a class presentation once a term based on the current term’s living value.  Class presentations are held on Thursdays for Primary School and parents are invited to attend from 8 a.m. in the School Auditorium.

Secondary School

In Start-Rite Day Secondary, the focus is on the Six Pillars of Character.  These pillars of character are core ethical values of CHARACTER COUNTS which help to instill a positive school climate for students, thereby, ensuring that the school remains safe for them to learn.  The six pillars of character are:

  • Trustworthiness
  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Fairness
  • Caring
  • Citizenship

Assemblies for Start-Rite Day School Students are held on Fridays at 8 a.m.
