We celebrate the remarkable achievement of one of Start-Rite Schools’ pioneering students, Engr. Yemike Oburo (BEng, MEng), who recently graduated with honours, earning a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Manchester University, UK.
This accomplishment stands as a testament to the visionary foresight of our beloved founder, Mrs. Amaka Ndoma-Egba. Her dream of establishing Start-Rite Schools has not only taken root but has flourished, producing exemplary individuals who excel on the global stage.
The story began in January 2008 when four young children, Zara Ndoma-Egba, Yemike Oburo, Goziem Oburo, and Oredipe Opeyemi, became pupils of Start-Rite Schools. Guided by the dedication of Mrs. Amaka Ndoma-Egba and supported by our exceptional pioneer Head of School, Mrs. Loretta Akpoke, along with a devoted team of educators, these children were set on a path of excellence.
We revel in Yemike’s success, which serves as a poignant reminder of Mrs. Amaka Ndoma-Egba’s enduring legacy. Her vision lives on in the children she nurtured and the adults they have become. With greater testimonials of the exploits of our students filling the air, the future is indeed bright.
Congratulations to Yemike and all the alumni of Start-Rite Schools! Here’s to many more achievements and bright futures ahead.
