Duke of Edinburgh International Award is a big deal at Start-Rite Schools.
For us at Start-Rite Secondary School, the Award concept is one of individual challenge. It presents our students a balanced, non-competitive programme of voluntary activities which encourages personal discovery and growth, self-reliance, perseverance, responsibility to themselves, and service to their community.
We are committed to providing opportunities for our students to develop soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, effective communication, and confidence.
