Start-Rite Schools paid a visit to the United Nations (UN) Office in Abuja, Nigeria. The students were well received by UN officials who spoke about the work of the UN in the simplest terms for the children to understand. The students learnt how the United Nations works for them (as children) through the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and got more information about the history of the UN, its structure and works through other agencies.
Start-Rite Schools believes in the work of the United Nations (UN) and has in the past, collaborated with the UN on a U3 Campaign which was a call to the world to Unite for Children, Unite for Peace and Unite for Sustainable Living. It is expected that more of these opportunities will be created for the students to build needed skills towards becoming positive change agents for a better world.
