Thursday, 6th December saw students from all Schools perform their wonderful Christmas Concert presentations in front of a packed audience. This years theme is ‘Christmas with Love’.
The Pupils wowed the audience with Christmas songs from the School Choir supported by the school band, cultural and contemporary dances from African Dance and Drama, a solo violin rendition by the award winning Abuja violinist and Start-Rite pupil Chinenyere Okorafor. Who can forget the delightful and elegant Ballet rendition? The Christmas Story was ably told by pupils in French and English.
The teachers also supported with their own presentations with the Teachers Choir, a festive salsa dance and an impressive solo by our own Miss Blessing.
Parents were not left out! They gave impromptu peformances with Christmas Carols in their native languages of Efik, Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba as well as showcasing their cultural dances.
Santa was also present checking his ‘naughty and nice’ list and distributing goodies much to the delight of Pupils and Parents.
The occasion really did bring ‘Joy to the World’….well our little part of the world at least. Happy Christmas!
